3/11/2024 0 Comments Xshell 4 for windows xpNew-Item $RegPath -Value 'C:\\SAXI\\SXTL\\shelxtl.EXE' -Force | Write-Debug The error is referring to the following lines at the end of the PowerShell script: $RegPath = 'HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\XP, XPREP, XSHELL' ![]() The logs show an exitcode generated by the script (which has $ErrorActionPreference = 'Stop'), and the log for the install script reports:ĮRROR: Cannot bind argument to parameter 'Path' because it is an empty string. When I have SCCM run the same script for deployment, SCCM is reporting a failure. It generally works without a problem and all the machines onto which we manually install are happy. We have a custom built PoSh script to do the action of the install (as best as we could figure I'm trying to put together a deployment package (advertised application) for ancient software for which the original installer won't work (16-bit).
